Left several messages for someone who we don't know. Says there is a restraining order against them and they are to appear in court and that their assets are being seized. Leaves a case number to forward to their attorney and a call back number. I called the number to tell them to remove my number from their system. I tried every option to reach a human. Each option would either say leave a message or that the party I was trying to reach was unavailable. The last option I tried, which was "settlement" was answered by a human. I told them they had the wrong number, but before I could finish, they hung up. When I called again, he was nasty, rude, and very condescending to me, said I shouldn't protect people like that, then hung up. Now, when I call back, it picks up then hangs right back up. I just want them to stop calling here every day!
I've received three calls this week from this so called "unit" stating I must call the number with the claim number they provide. They state I must contact my lawyer and that I must respond within 48 hours due to a restraining order issued. Beware this call and do not call back!! It is some idiot trying to scam you out of your money!!
They leave a voice mail asking me to call them back because of a law suit that I am named in. They never give my name. They say there is a restraining order and that i'm supposed to show up in court. but they don't say where. They call repeatedly throughout the week never saying who they are calling or exactly what they are calling about.
Called and told me I am a respondent in a lawsuit. Called back five or six times and finally someone answered, "Litigation." Woman who answered was super flaky, gave me three different amounts she said I owed ((2300, 2000, then 3000). Said I took out a "prepaid debit card" (HELLO IDIOTS, if it was prepaid it would not be credit! Duh!) Said it was from my address but did not have my address correct. Tried to get personal info (address, workplace) I refused to provide. When I asked for their street address, refused to provide (I would forward to the FTC and my state attorney general if they provided, also would send a notice letter you can get a template for on the FTC website). Already reported to the state attorney general and will be reporting to the FTC and possibly FBI tomorrow. Really transparent scam and I hope the FTC and the state ag's office catch on soon!

I got a phone call stating I had 48 hours to respond to a restraining order due to some legal action complaint against me.They also gave me a order number M something and I needed to forward this to my lawyer. When I also tried to call back no one would answer.
The same as all the other victims. The first few second were garbled, then went on to advise me that the matter had been filed against me and now involved a restraining order. Stated to give my attorney their information, but to call them as soon as possible. The message is dry unnerving and stressful! I called back five times, pressing every option which then prompted me that their mail boxes were full.
Got a call from them stating there was a civil case and restraining order for my husband. When calling the supposed company that we owed money, they had no record of us. Calling the number above to speak to them about this, they hung up and would not answer repeated call backs. This is a scam to get money you do not owe.
Please proceed with legal action. I got a phone call stating I had 48 hours to respond to a restraining order due to some legal action complaint against me.They also gave me a order number M something and I needed to forward this to my lawyer. When I also tried to call back no one would answer.
This scared the **** out of me!!! Is this bogus??? there telling me there is a civil case against me and a restraining order has been issued!!! And I have no idea why and when i call the number they left me to call, the mailbox is full. So im freaking out here!~!!!
As as all other comments this is such a scam scared the **** out of me ... they stated that they would seize my money from the bank ... told me I owed 3.9011.23 when I owed no money to anybody .. kept calling back and the person would hang up on u then no one will answer the phone ... The only people who can seize your money is the IRS .... SOMEBODY NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS BS !!!!!!!!
This number called my ex- husband and left a message stating the same criteria stated in all the previous posts. I know I don't have any lawsuits, etc. I am also informed about the law and a restraining order notice cannot be given over the phone nor can they notify you of seizing assets over the phone. There is a very long and tedious legal process that takes place in order to seize someone’s assets and you must be “processed served”. DO NOT take this call seriously. It is a scam.
Received a call today, stating there was protection order and I was named in a lawsuit. When I called back to find out what was going on the voice mail was full. I have not received any documentation in the mail about this, nor can I find anything at my local court office about it. Until that happens, I will not give the caller the time of day, I suggest you do not either.
They called my uncle and somehow convinced him that I was in trouble and about to be arrested. I tried to call them back, called 7 times as a matter of fact. I only ever got one person no matter what number I pressed. He answered "Litigation departmernt". Once I identified myself and put up a kind of argument, they hung up on me....over and over and over. So yes this is a scam. If I truely owed someone something, they would prove it not just hang up. Keep reporting them.
Called us aprox 8:15 am with recorded message stating we were involved in a civil suit with a restraining order and needed to appear in court, and should contact our attorney with claim# MR98-2240 and have our attorney cal 804-441-8343. Checked online and appears to be scam. However, they also called my daughter, who is disabled and left a message for Heather D Vande which is not my correct name. All other info in the message was the same. Message saved. Caller id listed call as "Virginia Call". First of all, I have lived here and had my phone number over 40 years and have no legal actions against me or any reason to have a restraining order. Secondly, why on earth would they call my daughter and leave a message for me? She has only lived there 2 years. Despite fully believing this to be a scam, I feel quite upset. These scam people need to be stopped!
They left me a message on my new phone telling me that there is a lawsuit against me and please give the details to my lawyer but there is no one to call back. There is literally no one available and they don't give a name for me to check and see if I am the one they are trying to reach. How is this even allowed?????
